Jack Drum provides a wide range of high quality accessible arts activities for people of all ages and abilities across County Durham and the wider region. We run regular weekly sessions during term time and holidays for children and young people at our base in the St.Cuthberts Centre, Crook as well as activities for adults and families through our Community Learning programmes.

We have a thriving youth arts café in the centre of Crook and a lovely allotment in Roddymoor that we use to run outdoor arts and holistic therapy projects. Our outreach programme visits local schools, community centres, day care centres and residential homes around the County delivering unique projects that work towards live performances, film premieres and exhibitions.

We are currently national partners of the British Council’s Active Citizens programme supporting local social action projects and a BFI Network Film Academy providing filmmaking opportunities for young people ages 16-19 years.
Through our ROAD programme we are also able to provide access to a health trainer as well as other support for adults who need that extra bit of help to move themselves closer to employment.

Jack Drum can devise and create bespoke projects for you or your organisation. We will work with you to design a project that suits your needs and fits with your budgetary requirements. We have a pool of experienced, associate artists who have a wide range of skills and areas of expertise with which to deliver projects. Please get in touch if you are interested in Jack Drum providing such a project for you or your organisation.
