Afro Brazilian Drumming Workshop

Step into the vibrant world of Maracatu, powerful percussion music from North-East Brazil. Led by some of the band leaders from Baque de Ogum, this two-hour workshop is open to all musical levels, from complete beginners to experienced drummers. Together we’ll explore the deep, collective energy of Maracatu, learning rhythms that inspire movement, connection, and joy.

If you’re looking for a musical experience that goes beyond the ordinary, one that makes you feel the pulse of the drum, moves you to dance, and leaves you buzzing with energy this is for you. Our taster workshop will immerse you in axé, rhythm, and community.
