Year of the King Exhibition of Visual Art

Join us at Willington Open Door Methodist Church from Saturday 20th Jan - Thursday 25th Jan for a free community exhibition showcasing the fantastic new artwork created by two Legacy Groups as part of our Year of the King project.

Funded by Spirit of 2012 as part of it’s Moments to Connect fund, Year of the King has brought connection, creativity, and compassion to Crook and Willington. We have absolutely loved working with our fantastic participants to bring this project to life, and we are excited to share the rich and varied work they have created with you.

None of it would have been possible without the wonderful partnerships, dedicated volunteers, and inspiring facilitators who have all contributed so much to the project. Thanks to everyone who has made it such an enjoyable process.

To see the artwork for yourself, visit Willington Open Door Methodist Church, Wesley Street, Willington, DL15 0AG on:

Sat 20th Jan - 2pm - 4pm, Sun 21st Jan - 2pm - 4pm, Mon 22nd - Thurs 25th Jan, 9am - 2pm.
