Crook Games Club

A safe, welcoming space for young people aged 11–19 to build friendships and confidence

Overview
Crook Games Club is a weekly youth session designed to combat loneliness, anxiety, and poor mental health through social connection and fun. It provides a safe space for young people to meet, play games, and build lasting friendships in a welcoming, inclusive environment.

Partnerships
We are an active member of the Durham Youth Print Network and are Co Anchor for the Durham Dales area working in partnership with TCR Hub who are based in Barnard Castle.

Impact
Sessions are inclusive of young people with physical and/ or learning disabilities, mental health challenges, LGBTQIA+ identities, refugee backgrounds, those in care, and care leavers. Young people are central to shaping the programme via a participant steering group.
