Feel Good Fridays

‘Feel Good Fridays’ is a social and creative workshop taking place on Fridays from 12pm till 3pm. The session is free and open to all age 18+

Alongside provision of a warm and welcoming space, Feel Good Fridays provides opportunities for participants to take part in cooking sessions with our professional chef, engage with our health trainer, and participate in creative arts activities.

We also provide access to information advice and guidance on a range of issues with signposting available to various support agencies when required. We use our networks to invite professionals and other suitable guests to provide workshops and sign post those who are interested to volunteering opportunities, both within Jack Drum Arts and external organisations.

The session focusses provision for people from all walks of life includinsg adults with poor mental health, those who live alone, older adults, those struggling financially due to the current economic crisis, as well as adults who are long term unemployed and furthest from the labour market. This activity aims to improve mental health and resilience in a time of significant turmoil for members of our community.
