A free weekly creative and social session to boost wellbeing for adults aged 18+

Overview
Feel Good Fridays is a warm, welcoming weekly workshop offering social connection, creativity, and support for adults in our community. Taking place every Friday, the session is free and open to anyone aged 18 and over. It provides a safe space to relax, meet others, and take part in enriching activities designed to improve mental health and wellbeing.

Partnerships
Delivered by Jack Drum Arts with support from visiting professionals and guest facilitators.

Impact
This programme supports adults facing a range of challenges, including poor mental health, social isolation, financial hardship, long-term unemployment, and those furthest from the labour market. The focus is on reducing loneliness, improving resilience, and fostering community.

  • Weekly creative arts workshops

  • Cooking sessions with a professional chef

  • Health and wellbeing support from a qualified health trainer

  • Guest workshops and talks from support agencies and professionals

  • Access to information, advice, and guidance

  • Signposting to volunteering opportunities at Jack Drum Arts and beyond
