Dulce Et Decorum Est

The Story of a County Durham Family torn apart by The Great War

Dulce Et Decorum Est was a project delivered by Jack Drum Arts in partnership with Daisy Arts and Jackass, Turrets and WASH Youth Theatres. A team of professional artists supported over 30 young people to research, develop, produce and perform an outdoor immersive theatre show staged in Hamsterley Forest during the WW1 Centenary weekend of 9th, 10th and 11th November 2018.

The project was funded by County Durham Community Foundation, Northern Heartlands, The Forestry Commission, Youth Music, Scotto Trust and local Area Action Partnerships with mentorship provided by Burn the Curtain.
